Cookie Policy
How CopyUp.ai uses cookies and similar technologies, the choices you have, and how to manage them. This policy works together with our Privacy Policy.
Last updated: June 5, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how CopyUp.ai ("we", "our", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and use our services (the "Service").
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them more secure, and to provide reporting information. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs).
We operate on an opt-in basis: cookies that are not strictly necessary are not set until you give consent. You can accept, reject, or change your choices at any time.
Cookies we use
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Retention | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you signed in and secures your authenticated session. | Session / until sign-out or expiry | Strictly necessary |
preferred-language | CopyUp.ai | Remembers your chosen interface language (English / Hebrew). | 12 months | Strictly necessary |
copyup_cookie_consent | CopyUp.ai | Stores your cookie consent choices so we can honour them. | 180 days | Strictly necessary |
Payment session cookies | Tranzila | Enables secure payment processing on the hosted checkout page during a purchase. | Session | Strictly necessary |
We currently do not run third-party analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce them, they will load only after you grant consent for the relevant category, and this table will be updated accordingly.
Managing your preferences
You can review and change your consent at any time. Use the button below to open the cookie preferences panel, or use the "Cookie preferences" control available on every page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though some features of the Service may not work without strictly necessary cookies.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. "First-party" cookies are set by the site you are visiting; "third-party" cookies are set by another domain. Cookies can last for a single session (deleted when you close your browser) or persist for a defined period.
We also use related browser storage technologies, such as localStorage, which serve similar purposes — for example, remembering your language and your cookie choices on your own device.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function, including authentication, session security, language preference, secure payment, and recording your consent. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used so we can measure and improve performance. Set only with your consent.
- Marketing & functional — used to personalize content, remember preferences across visits, and measure the effectiveness of our communications. Set only with your consent.
3. Your consent and how to withdraw it
When you first visit the Service, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose categories individually. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" control, which is available on every page and from the button in the "Managing your preferences" section above. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We ask you to confirm your choices periodically so that your consent stays current.
4. Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties that may set their own cookies when you use them — for example, Tranzila when you make a payment, and Supabase for authentication. These providers process data under their own privacy and cookie policies.
When you connect optional integrations (such as social or analytics platforms), those services may also set cookies governed by their policies. We encourage you to review the relevant third-party policies.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. The location of these controls varies by browser; consult your browser's help pages for guidance.
Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Service — such as signing in and making payments — may not function correctly.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our practices. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
